That is a logical conclusion given the Kremlin's comically poor combined arms performance in Ukraine. The possibility exists that as NATO defeats Kremlin forces in Belarus, Putin would respond with a nuclear weapon. Difficult to imagine him just taking the L and pushing away from the table.

Poland, Finland, and the Baltic states should form an additional, more aggressive defense alliance. A plan B in case NATO fails to commit totally. With partial NATO backing (weapons and logistics, short of full war footing) and Russia tied up in Ukraine, I don’t see how Russia could win that war.
