The meeting in the UK will be very useful, especially after the totally useless rare earth minerals meeting in the US.
The US again missed their chance to show their ability to finally fullfill the Budapest agreement to protect Ukraine, for which Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons in 1994.

America will learn the hard way that there’s a reason why most of the world isn’t lining up to be best friends with Russia and China. But by the time they figure it out, it’ll be too late.
I had a horrible feeling about this meeting, but I thought trump was going to let russian agents poison President Zelensky, so I will take it as a relief that he is still alive.
My impression is that President Zelensky has wanted this himself. I have had my doubts, but I think it is human to be deceived by hope when you are in such a desperate situation.
The one reason I can see is it would piss of Trump.
Other reasons can be that it might be mutually beneficial to EU and Ukraine by helping to rebuild the country after the war and sustaining the need for REEs.
Oh, thank god. I was genuinely worried Zelensky would be forced to swallow his pride and show up at the Shitehouse again just to smooth things over. That would’ve been a complete humiliation—not just for him, but for Ukraine/Europe as a whole.

Listen carefully. Terrorist Trump told Zelensky that he should accept the "deal" of a cease fire. That is a terrible deal. Evidently, Putin wants a cease fire so he can build more weapons and train more men. We should be attacking Putin hard right now while he's on his back foot.

Bilateral trade agreements would also nullify the most effective talking points of those who oppose Ukrainian aid.
