Definitely. I'm not into turn based gameplay. So growing up I tried the OGs and it just didn't click. So I played 16 remake and really enjoyed it. As well as 7 remake.

I tried the OG games growing up. It's not that I didn't want to enjoy them. I'm just not a fan of the turnbase gameplay. The closest turn base game (which isn't traditional turnbase) I enjoyed is Lost in Random. So I appreciate those that played the OGs cuz now I get to enjoy the games like you all.

FF8 always holds a place in my heart as the first one i ever played.
FF9 is my favourite. it didn't click the first time i played it but went back to it, loved it and it took the spot of number 1 for me.
My favourites are Zidane and Selphie

Red’s combat is so much fun! Even though he doesn’t excel in aerial combat, he did come in clutch so many times on my hard mode playthrough in Rebirth with his amazing survivability.

Yeah I really loved all of his defensive stuff. He can really pile on the Status effects and DoT damage. I loved who every character had so much freedom to do builds around, it's amazing. Hopefully we get some of that wall running he was doing in part one when we couldn't control him for part 3.
