Just popped over and read the article. It assumes the premise that only men have this desire, which is weird, but whatever. The story it tells at the start—about a guy in a dive bar who figures out how to get some schmuck out of a locked bathroom—is a good one. But there's a giant hole in the piece.

Where are the men standing up to protect us from all that? A lot are on the wrong side.
But real heroism is taking on the supervillain, not the minor thug.
