The fact that Poilievre refused to get his security clearance given long-time allegations of foreign interference and now serious allegations of meddling by Indian agents and their proxies in his leadership bid is disqualifying for an aspiring Prime Minister.
Comments
Even if he passed the clearance he could choose not to read the Intel.
The fact he won’t even APPLY makes ZERO sense from a professional or political standpoint unless what that process will uncover is more damaging to him.
There’s no other explanation in this logic.
He’s a horrible horrible risk to this nation.
Can we trust him to keep the info he will be privy to to himself?
But also note he’s like trump and just moves on to media who will not ask the direct questions.
Another reason to have concern about what he is hiding and his intensions.
Hey, Pierre!
Get your security clearance.
⁉️Why should anyone who doesn’t think it’s important for leader to have knowledge of national security threats to #Canada have the opportunity to sit as an elected MP representing Canadians⁉️
I can’t imagine giving Arnold Viersen clearance for anything.
Party leaders though? I can see a valid argument for that.
On a different scale, as a technical person I had the minimum clearance for certain technical information. PP doesn't even have the minimum if I understand his status accurately.
Yes , leadership should have clearance and be vetted.
His corruption and his contempt for his countrymen knows no bounds. We all must reject him completely.
#NeverPoilievre
Heck, we discovered you don’t even need to have basic skills or an interest in the public good.
Apparently this will slide as I see no actio on this.I am not happy about it.

Vote for the adult in the house who is Mark Carney.
He has his elbow up! Along with Mike Myers.
I’d like to hear an explanation from Carney about that.
Especially with women’s voting, reproductive and personhood rights are being threatened to the south of us.
typo city today.
he should be rotting in a pillory for his actions during the convoy siege, the #%@&*-ing traitor
With contempt for this- you get Signal chats and texts of battle plans!
I would never want to be told that I can't ask all the questions I want of the government. And I think that on this, Poilievre is completely right."
How do you imagine that it’s better for the Leader of the Opposition to make decisions and outline his policies in ignorance of available information?
The “muzzling” thing is a smokescreen. I bet he couldn’t pass if he tried.
WRONG
He knows all about muzzling journalists doesn’t he.
A country leader with no security clearance?
How can this work?
Imagine the scenario
CSIS or the Army: We have a threat to the country Mister Prime minister, we can’t talk to you about it. What do you want us to do?
What is he hiding?🙈
