Cheese and pineapple on a pizza go together perfectly (see also: cheese and pineapple on a cocktail stick - perfect party food). If I add to it, itβs preferably bacon over ham.
I like it as a change of pace. I usually have it as a combo with pepperoni instead of Canadian Bacon - which for the life of me isn't bacon and gives Canadians a bad rap.
Not a fan personally, but to each their own. The salty/sweet combo in the same dish never did it for me. But I get why it works and never bothered me. People who dislike it make it out like it's some horrifying flavor combo, but it's really just meh to me.
