It's the roles they so perfectly encapsulated - the foolish schoolboy being ticked off by his mother - but Thorning-Schmidt went one step further. Knowing - or suspecting - the camera was still rolling she presented, uninterrupted and unquestioned, the perfect message for that moment to the media.

Honestly an absolutely awful interview. I listened to it during a very dull 4 hour drive and it was the low point! She just talked utter nonsense when it came to meta. If she or anyone thinks that that is the way forward for progressives, then we're in for a rough few years.
