It's a dry heat, but the sun is still brutal. No clouds and virtually no shade on most streets (no trees and buildings are mostly 1-2 stories setback from the street).

I moved to Midtown Sacramento in 1993, in part because there were many goth girls who wore fishnets & Doc Martens, rode bikes or walked to get around, & would date a guy without a car (like me). I married this one & we're celebrating 28 years of walkable gothic urbanism together.
