If you have any box or oscillating fans, taking a damp towel and placing over the top of the fan will help it to blow cooler air. Wetting some and keeping them in the fridge until you need them will work even better.
Has anyone reported on what we're looking at next year? Harvests in breadbasket regions have failed. What does that mean for us next year? I'm guessing higher prices if we're lucky, no food if we're not. I need an analysis.
Whenever anyone complains about extreme weather, I morbidly think, be happy this will probably be the best year you will experience for the rest of your life. That will be true next year too.
What's really weird about this is that Maine is having one of the coldest and wettest summers in ~10 years. I think we are actually in a really great spot for climate change.
Maybe this will be the year that half a billion people die of heat exposure and dorks get to go on the news and complain about climate handwringers "politicizing the tragedy"
