Does he think it makes the situation better if the leads everyone to believe he didn’t even know the person?! Newsflash: it doesn’t make you look any less fucking DUMB!!!!
It just shows up, no invite. He thought it was a joke. From interviews he has done. I don't think Jeffrey Goldberg can say 100% who did it, but he assumed it was the person who made the group:
They need a better deflection strategy than this. "I don't remember meeting him" might even be true, but it's totally beside the point. Goldberg was clearly part of the chat, added by Waltz's account; no one's really denying it--just trying to obfuscate. Not even a "mistakes were made" moment.
Regardless of whether or not Waltz met Goldberg or not, Goldberg was invited to the meeting and saw allll the texts and now bringing receipts to prove Waltz and the others are lying sacks of doo doo.
I don't think this is malicious. But all these people in high offices seem to have very poor memory skills. Almost Alzheimer. They should all be removed to care facilities.
Its a bit surprising that he would have forgotten the two meetings, but I suppose it's possible. But frankly denying that he hasn't met Goldberg makes it look worse.
The fact that the next question was not, "How did his contact information get in your phone?" or "How did he get added to the chat?" is what tells you that this is an actor playing a journalist.
If he really doesn’t know him then it’s even worse. Like why did this reporter get invited to a classified meeting?!? Waltz belongs in a fuck you in the ass penitentiary.
Maybe Waltz invited Goldberg in deliberately to create a scandal to divert our attention away from the EOs issued today to take over all US elections and the Treasury.
That's actually fair. I can relate to that, and I'm just a rural teacher from Western Maine without nearly the number of social contacts as this bozo. But I do think I *might* remember meeting the Editor-in-Chief of the hated Atlantic Monthly magazine.
I've never used Signal. Does it have a "People you might know" option and Waltz inadvertently added a bunch of people, or do you have to know their Signal username to add them?
I dont know this person ( not as a friend but ) I dont have his number on my phone ( not anymore ) these are the lie/not lie they usually do, like ”I have not seen that paper” ( I read the text in laptop ) or ” nobody told me” ( I listened the speech ) I didnt get e-mail ( I get the phone message )
These people seem to forget a lot of things.. not sure if they are fit to hold leadership positions with their memory problems or their complete lack of integrity and concern for our country.
Treason by Faux! Their Broadcast license needs suspension. That bunch of knuckleheads needs litigation for false advertising. It's not a News Channel. They insult the nation!
1) look up the definition of treason (I mean FNC sucks ass, but treason is a very well-defined thing.)
2) Fox News isn't a broadcast station and so, like all other cable channels, doesn't have a license -- and can't constitutionally be required to have a license -- in the first place.
That’s the Republican playbook. When ur caught doing illegal & immoral things, u lie, deflect then play stupid. Republicans know, they’re untouchable, the courts did nothing for the crimes of the 1st Trump term, they’re emboldened now. Imagine how many pardons they’ll give themselves after this term
There’s a simple explanation here folks. Waltz mistakenly added Jeffrey Goldberg, when he really meant to add Whoopi Goldberg. With that cleared up can we get back to destroying Americas alliances and sowing chaos in the word. 👊🏼👊🏼💥💥
According to Trump, Waltz is a very nice man and he's sorry he made a mistake.
ONE mistake Mr Waltz? What's that then - getting caught? Because it seems to me you've made many mistakes, but never mind, because Gabbard and Radcliffe have tried throwing Hegseth under the bus and I, for once, agree.
Never have understood why lying is always the first go to for many but then I’ve never been close to this level in any org And it seems that like blood in the water it only encourages the media
Ever catch your kid doing something wrong and he is trying to explain it and he has that quiver in his voice and his arms and hands are flailing? This. Right. Here.
This guy is deep state, he very well knows Goldberg and tried to sneak him in without anybody knowing. Goldberg is a despicable guy, they say, and Waltz and him are in cahoots
Every interview on Fox News w Trump or his bootlickers is an obnoxious example of leading your witness. They dont even pretend to give a shit abt being fair & balanced anymore, except Jessica Tarlov gets about 10 minutes a day where she fucks em all up👍 then back to North Korea/Moscow
Trump also seems to regularly never have met hundreds of people he's been photographed hugging, having dinner with, kissing, appointing to his administration, sharing US secrets with, molesting.
How else would Waltz have Goldberg's contact info listed as "JG"? He either knew him fairly well or -- he didn't want any idle eyes knowing who JG was.
Hmmm if he’s a deceitful and highly discredited so-called journalist who has made a profession of peddling hoaxes why are you texting him top secret war plans? Aaaaaand why do you have his number in your phone?

Trying to understand if you can identify who did it.
Lucky he even remembers himself.
Waltz is distracting...badly.
I dont totally buy this whole, oops, same initials thing.
Not only does this person have a “poor memory,” but he’s adding complete randos whose number he has in his dusty contacts. Okay.
This guy broke the law and is blaming his accuser. No apology, no admittance of guilt.
All those empty chair meetings in R districts need to focus on veteran voices. FULL COURT PRESS.

A line directly from the Donald Trump playbook.
He’s learned from the best!
A: Their lips are moving.
But they are flooding the conversation with excuses and lies, not legitimacy.
poop: pants on fire: head explode
