I’ll probably catch up with Traitors later, but the biggest flaw is that there’s no advantage to eliminating traitors until the end, because eliminated traitors will get replaced anyway, so it makes more sense to get rid of people you don’t like irrespective of whether you think they’re traitors.

But you make a good point, which has me thinking, isn't it better to get rid of people who don't like you?
Although this method assumes that later tasks will be like earlier ones; they might end up with fit young players who just fail quicker than slower and wiser counterparts who've been murdered/banished...
