most of what people know about regen ag is from the work by SA govt botanist John Acocks whose seminal Veld Types of S/rn Africa and ran a model farm in E Cape - he designed the rotational pasture system: sheep, cattle, horses (based on dentition), which prevents erosion - no one's even heard of him

I had not heard of him. I very honestly trust your option, but thought I'd check him out. got as far as this on his wiki : "Prince Charles called him 'a remarkable man' and noted farmer Joel Salatin wrote, 'History will vindicate Allan Savory...' "

I checked out at the first sentence of his wiki bio ID’ibg him as white Zimbabwean born when it was still called Rhodesia…it only went downhill from there.
