Americans certainly won't get it right on the first try, but I don't think there's any beef with real Irish names here? We mostly hate our own trendy suburban whites naming their daughters "Keleigh" over "Kelly" to cosplay an unearned ethnic identity.

I’m on day 11 of learning Irish. Learning general pronunciation via names is incredibly useful. That said, I’m sticking with the Connacht dialect for now.
