Run an apache server. If not from home, then from a cloud service. Social media has the potential for good, but under a corrupt oligarchy, most comm channels are subjects of the corruption.
Who remembers when the Juggalos created their own facebook clone? I do. Good solution to a bad problem.

After so many instances of artists, authors, and other creators I loved as a child letting me down by turning out to be terrible people, it feels like a *gift* when one of them not only does the right thing, but speaks out about it. Thank you.

I see many still on Instagram, making excuses. "They want to leave, but, but..."

Meta sees all these people afraid to leave, and therefore encouraged to keep doing what it does.
