You seriously have no idea how ingrained this song is in my brain. My dad seriously played it on loop constantly in the car when I was growing up. I don't know how many times Trump has heard the song at his rallies, but I promise you I've heard it more.
I was in a parade once standing on the back of a pickup truck throwing candy for over three hours while being forced to listen to God Bless the USA blaring on a loop from a boombox. I hate that song with a passion

Oh god. My 18 month old has a picture book with the hockey song and I sang it to him once and now he loves it and anytime he sees that book he screams until I sing it to him and since my house is full of Persians I’m the only one who can do it and we have to hide the book but he finds it and screams
