I'm reminded of a recent thread that I saw only second-hand by an author whose name I can't recall (😓). The gist was that here, morality is defined by in- vs. out-group dynamics, and those on the in-group can't be immoral by definition (and vice-versa). It doesn't matter (to them) whether it's true.
