learn a new skill related to what you already do. It may be easy to find a modeler [I don't actually know], but a modeler that also textures is harder. A modeler who sculpts, models, textures, makes shaders AND rigs are even harder to come by.

Ugh, sorry to hear. My only advice is see if you can convince them to let you keep your equipment after scrubbing the drive and also let you cash out any promised perks or anniversary rewards you had coming that you might care about. Maybe also ensure you're credited in any upcoming projects too.

If you're a union member, have a rep accompany you to any calls with HR & advise to ensure you get the best deal out of things. Don't waste energy fighting against the decision too much - if the studio wants it to happen, it's going to happen. Instead, spend your energy securing your next role.
