Nick Park and Merlin Cressingham taking the Wallace & Gromit characters with them to the BAFTAs last night is just absolutely peak, I love this so much

May your Valentines Day be spent with those you love.

Thinking about a new story. Creative work is a loop. Once you get to the end of a project, you find yourself back in the beginning of the next project, with the same steps ahead of you. But it’s also a spiral, you have learned a lot, there are new thoughts, you are evolving, on a journey somewhere.

Whoops, I’m ‘accidentally’ playing Bloodborne yet again, oh no how did this happen 😏

So weird thing - lately I’ve been picking up a fair few followers from science/medical communities. I can only assume that I’ve ended up in a science starter pack somehow by mistake, but I just want to make it clear that I am not who you seek. Unless you’re here for video games and/or Godzilla 😅

Im sorry but there’s a new standard now if we are talking about acting range.

Here's a closer look at the title/logo sequence I created for the "Intergalactic" trailer using practical/analog FX. The spiral background is a miniature magnetic vortex @steph-sheridan.bsky.social & I made, filmed at 1000fps. The logos were made with CRT TVs & glitch hardware. More info in alt txt!

Gonna tell kids this is Santa Claus

This is kind of the crux of why none of these huge tech companies could figure out how to make games. They see it as a technology problem, but when a lot of what makes a great game great is an Arts and Humanities journey

This ship is the coolest one in No Man’s Sky, and I promise I’m not just saying that because I’m a classic WipEout boomer 👀

I’ve been revisiting The Order: 1886 a bit this week, and was pleased to see that the visuals/atmosphere of this game still really hold up. It’s such a shame that Ready At Dawn never got the opportunity to expand on the ideas here further, I would have loved to see a sequel

10th anniversary Journey thread, recreated: I was the art director of thatgamecompany's Journey. It set the course of my career and my art. I'm forever thankful to the community of players and their incredible love for the game. This is a thread comparing early dev images and how things shipped.

Still can’t quite believe that I managed to get one of these, it really is a beautiful console imo

Time to break out the Christmas video games

Guys, has anyone posted the YES, MADAM (Corey Yuen, 1985) final fight scene on here yet? Extremely important for the website to run properly.

Here's that Uncharted 4 downhill chase section played in blockmesh vs art blockmesh vs final art. There are a million stages between.

I've added a bunch of new people to my Game Trailer Makers Starter Pack so I'm resharing the link! Please let me know if you're someone who edits, captures, directs, produces, or otherwise is involved in making game trailers and cinematics! go.bsky.app/3dAX1qt

I usually can’t hit the side of a barn when I play DPS, so this was nice 😅

A nice picture of a cat has always felt like a good first post for a new social media platform. Her name is Sigrún and she is a delight 💙
