I have had 2 different poutine from 2 different places so far, and to nobody's surprise the one from the local mom n pop restaurant was better than the one from a chain
I will now make my goal to try poutine from as many places as I can to find the best one

Hope you can find one you view as best.
That joint's really gone downhill in the last decade :<
I used to work in a concession stand location and it was very mid tier food. I liked the fries but after a year it wasnt as good.
Ashton's?
A poutine routine if you will.
Personal recommendations are La Banquise in Montreal and, my personal favorite, a pub up north in Saint-Jerome called Le Dieu Du Ciel, they have a daily rotation of special poutines and incredible craft beers 😋
It was from a chain but now I want to try to find a mom n pop shop that sells it just to try.
Just be mindful of the road conditions if you drive out of town! (sry if parasocial but i dont want you to get into an accident, esp these days where its warmer and slippier where i am)
Now I'm hungry~
Owner's name is Matt. He's great.
Glad you like our signature comfort food! :P

Poutine on the Ritz.
The secret is that the best poutine comes from the tiny shack in the woods where they do maple syrup
The cheese curds also need to be JUST warm enough. One fast food place I bought a poutine from overmelted them and they turned into glue. XD
Ooooof! XD That's awful.
You're singlehandedly making me reconsider my previous opinion on the importance level of the fries.
eight dollars. fifteen hundred calories.
Second best thing to ever come out of Canada
