Streamlabs was also originally called Streamlabs OBS specifically to cause brand confusion. Fortunately they were threatened with legal action over it.
First he says he likes girls of all shapes, sizes and attributes then he kills a company by pointing out their wrongdoings. This cat simply cannot be stopped
It's almost always pointing out horribly unethical business practices and that company facing the entirely predictable consequences of those practices.
Jo pointed out that StreamElements not only allows but promotes AI generated overlays and alerts on their platform. StreamElements then untagged themselves from the post and the comments of said post, implying that they do not intend to change course.
A site that gets used for things like stream overlays or sub notifications. Whenever you see one of those new sub/follower things it's either Streamlabs or Streamelements.
The best part is that if the company didn’t want people to leave, they could have either actually addressed what was said or not have the ai feature to begin with.
Frankly, been working on replacing all my old stream elements widgets with streamerbot here... bit slow going, and it's only for art/work streams (since I need clean game footage), but so far it's not been too bad to reach parity while also working on unique features.
Nice one, though I still think we should be careful with idolizing murder, no matter the reason behind it. Sadly, no one is going to get easier access to health insurance because one CEO got shot, I think.
Think of it this way. Luigi killed one person. That CEO made conscious decisions resulting in the deaths of many people all in the name of increasing the income of his company by denying people health insurance to those who’d paid for it. May not have used a gun but he still killed.
That was clear from the beginning, I know and hate what that CEO and his company did. I still think murder is wrong though, no matter how justified it may have been. So I can't idolize it, but I can understand why people do. Just scared to what that may lead in the future.
I'll stick with calling it Generative AI - we don't need a million terms for the same garbage. If we wanted to though, Generative Plagiarism would be far more accurate than "Derivative ai" - since there actually is no "ai" in the process, merely algorithmic remixing.
Yeah, sadly it got brushed aside when the news came out, so not a lot of people got to know about it~ :c
Heard StreamerBot and MixItUp are good, though they are programs and not web based like SE in case you're not too keen on installing yet another program~ Twitch also has alerts within the site~
SB is infinitely more powerful than the competition. It's not even close. I managed to (with friends help) write a swath of code that posts to a discord webhook when i go live that results in an embed akin to twitchcord.
He called them out on promoting AI-based shit, and they un-tagged themselves without responding. Basically stuck their fingers in their ears and ignored him.
Any company that can be killed by tweeting is a weak company. We’re doing a service to the economic environment, taking out the weak and slow companies and managing the corporate population. Like reintroducing wolves to Yellowstone National Park!
The fact that they manually untagged themselves is enough to make me fix my stuff. Really gross. Gotta figure out how to move my stream pet and chat boxes over
Comments
you went back to xitter
Absolute gigachad.
maybe...
perchance...
Just gotta figure out how other streamy stuffs works now 💀

Dammit.
Great...more shit we DONT WANT.
Like, I really love SE and what they do, their shots awesome, but maaaaan…
Shame a lot of the tools are spewing shit everywhere tho
They fact that they untagged themselves from the entire thing is the most wild thing about it.
May you earn many more.
I've been criticizing SE for ages now, and nothing's happened yet.
I'm glad I read this before I started using it. thanks for the heads up!
(in a fucky kind of way)
TO THE EXECUTIONER'S BLOCK 🔥🔥🔥
I tried them when I started streaming after some shit with streamlabs a couple years ago.
I also have been on and off so I don't know what the issues are for either.

It is a badge of honor 🥰
It's rather entertaining.
I wish.
