Friends there have lost their homes. Pasadena friends have evacuated because the air is toxic. They cannot breathe. I wish I could tell them their home would still be there in the morning.

The MAXAR satellites (formerly “WordlView”) are highly agile high-res optical satellites. They can be pointed far off-nadir to get images nearly anywhere in the world on any given day.

They’re a private company tho and the images are $$$. Hence why it’s hard to just Google looking for images.
