My 17 yr old niece:
My Ford Explorer has a CD player but doesn’t even have seat warmers. It’s so cringe.
Me: My first car was a Fiero. It had no mirrors and the bumper was a 2X4. The engine was in the middle of the car so if it blew up it spared the driver the embarrassment of being identified.

It had a hole in the gas tank that would leak when I turned right, and it also trailed sparks due to a dragged muffler. How I did not die in a fireball, I have no idea.
I so loved that car.
(ex used o have one)
My first car didn’t have AC, was all manual (steering, windows, seats) and had an am radio. The next two weren’t a lot better. It wasn’t until I had my 4th car that it was air conditioned and it’s hot here in the south. 😳
had a big crack in the bumper from where it had hit a coyote
had to turn on the lights and run around to the front to lift them up
My sister's first car shot coolant into the cabin AND leaked gas.
You know...a privileged boomer
Mine was a '78 Granada.
AM radio that got 1 station.
Rear passenger door wouldn't open.
Vinyl seats, 1 finger power steering, could seat an infinite amount of people, 10k miles per fuel pump
