Good. But if you'd given it less enlightened prompts, I expect that ChatGPT would given you a much worse answer. That's what happpened when I askekd it about a genuinely contentious scientific question. The result was guided by human intelligence. The #AI would produce an argument for anything!

Having just spent 3 weeks in Southern Africa my observations were that women in that culture are very much seen as equals on every level, more so than in Europe I’d say. Interesting stuff

Am I a bad person for not being interested in the gender debate. I think in Ireland we have always been matriarchic. I have never seen gender in friendships or work, until recently due to diversity targets & its impact to my promotion prospects. Though .. I agree there are issues elsewhere.

Obvisously definitions might vary but I’d say Ireland was solidly (and oppressively) patriarchal both in civic and cultural terms.

In the broader sweep of history, no. Obviously yes I think I can see where you're coming from, from the 18th/19th century Gaelic culture was in the retreat and Catholicism in its modern form had firmly taken hold. But that's more a cultural aberration than a norm for Ireland.

Very interesting, I expected northern Europe and N America/Canada to score higher, but here in Britain I do often note unspoken social rules that associate the Stiff Upper Lip with male honour and that claim that men are only interested in unrelated women for sex. I wonder if they're a factor.
