my bestie & I share locations so we can check in if we haven't heard from each other in a while, and also sometimes I take my walk when it's getting dark out (I have a flashy light thingie and stay on main roads) but I tell her to get worried if she sees my dot stop moving somewhere random

I've been kicking it around with enabling this with my NP just for safety's sake if either of us are out on a date or otherwise. I do feel that boundaries should be set with whoever I'm sharing location with that it is used for safety and not to sew distrust.

Most of the people I share my location with live with me and it's so convenient, and we can help each other find our phones and we're all on the same phone plan anyway. For others, it's just sort of fun to see where the other is. Nobody is bothered!

I should set this up again, we used to do it for dinner making purposes as well. I think some people had controlling parents or partners so they might be afraid of it? Idk, the worst thing we would see is if someone stopped for McDonalds
