No they don't. Salaries in the EU and many other non EU countries are stagnant AF. I live in Norway, where tech jobs pay 60 percent of what we make in the USA. Or at least what we used to make. Now, the tech bros outsourced the jobs to India and Eastern Europe and USA salaries are also going down.

Outsourcing is being rolled back.

The high end jobs pay less, the low end jobs pay more. That's the social contract in Europe. You get good purchasing power and a better safety net.

I think the point is that tech is global. Silicon from APAC, software / firmware from Europe, US etc manufacturing in Europe, China, APAC and so on. Happily no one has a monopoly.
