The OP's saying they like to *talk* with strangers, & believes they owe OP a conversation, even if it's inconvenient to the stranger
I get what you're saying-I'm on the spectrum. I love to talk with strangers. I had to learn to respect ppl's boundaries. IME that's better!

Like that’s barebones what’s being presented and everything else is assumed imo
And they did just scowl at me? Mkay that’s my problem.
They respond “oh, they’re Sony”
Cool (1/2)
How they respond is my problem. We can continue or not. I feel like everyone is responding with the experiences of folks who are forced to continue engaging. And from my own experiences, that fucking blows chunks
I think you're just not able to pick up on that. It could just be poor phrasing but she could delete the post if that's it
And a hi can be achieved with a wave. Wave, smile, done.
If someone wants to be inhospitable to conversation, that's their business, but they've purposefully put signs in place for a reason. Why would someone speak with someone who's put up specific signs, in order to actively make someone upset by not respecting that person's obvious boundaries?
Asking an open ended question to someone is more than "just saying hi" as your first reply to me implied
Their response is their issue, how you handle the response is up to you. The cues to not talk were already in place, if you push further THATS you
Those "vibes" are social displays. You and op seem to be laboring under the mistaken impression that ppl *you* want to interact with MUST do that. NOPE!! Respect boundaries, especially when you admit you're able to see & read them correctly!
