Most of the ones that I don't think I'll ever part with are ones which I can still remember when and when I drew them, and how I felt at the time. I'd feel like I'd be giving away a slice of my personhood to someone else, and I'm not sure there is any price high enough for it...
There's just a difference and it's hard to explain.
