I moved out here over a year ago. I know of some great churches out here. What style of churchmanship do you prefer? If you're on the Lower side, I have a friend who is an organist at St. Peter's in Albany. St Andrew's in Albany is the most liberal parish in the diocese I think and is broad church.
Also, I go to St. George's in Schenectady, which is Anglo-Catholic. Also, I have a friend who attends All Saints Cathedral in Albany as well. It's also Anglo-Catholic and stunningly gorgeous.
I have tended to attend somewhat broad church parishes, though ones that lean a little more high church (never been a member of a parish that was definitively Anglo-Catholic, though I would not be opposed to one), and somewhere in that range is probably my preference—appreciate the insights!
Also, fun fact, it was given in memory of a deputy to GC who died of pneumonia while there. He’s immortalized as the bearded man at lower left corner (who bears a startling resemblance to the last Rector)
