#1 this is my first time being called a redneck and Iβm living for it, genuinely.
#2 but for serious! I bounced off after the second pirates world. I havenβt revisited it in a LONG time. What did you enjoy about it?
To actually answer the question like a normal person π The recreation of the Disney worlds was the best and most charming it's ever been, it has some of the strongest story moments in the entire franchise, it has, definitively, the strongest end game out of any Kingdom Hearts game, it ties together
All of the previous games in a perfect way and wraps up everyone's story beautifully! And the DLC, once again, has so many fan pleasing moments that are truly some of the best in the series!
Everything was great imo! The mechanics are easily the best and most polished in the series, I love the worlds they chose, etc. The only part I think is a legitimate negative for me is that it has 0 final fantasy characters.
All the people immediately dumping on it when it came out were just echoing talking points they'd heard from YouTubers who were just mad the specific things they wanted didn't happen.
I also saw a lot of people acting like there was nothing between KH2 and KH3 or that the games between 2 and 3 were spinoffs and it's like, no those were just as important as the rest just because you think Handheld games are beneath you doesn't mean you can just skip them.
Also read a review from a Gaming site where the reviewer was literally like "I have never played a single one of these games. This game is bad because I don't understand what's going on"
the biggest problems KH3 had was that it took so long from it's initial announcement that everyone's expectations & hype was rising above what was actually planned. and DIsney's interferance with the world's stories. we could have had a boss fight with SkΓΆll AND Hati as Elsa's heartless & nobody!!!
I like it. I'm a big fan. They built upon the story. They made some of the most fun combat and they really brought the characters to life. I would never go as far as to say the writing in ff7 is genius. It's good. It's fun. But Shakespeare it is not. It just gives good cyber/fantasy novella.
I was just mad we had amazing disney picks and I dont think they were really successful for the most part...Arendelle particularly was heartbreaking with the expectations I had for it
Perhaps! But it coming 40 years after 2, with 600 offshoot games between (of varying quality) set it firmly in this "I'm probably not playing this" zone.
The straight movie retellings were weak but a good bunch of the original stuff was fire. The keyblades were more unique than ever. The soundtrack has so many bangers... and let's not forget. Donald, canonical strongest black mage in Final Fantasy.
Bestie... it's the first time in a long time you have just fingerblasted the internet with your cursed content as if trying to deal psychic damage to our collective unconscious.
