This must REALLY be your time of year! Christmas. New Years. Oh,oh! Just realized that could mean you’re working a lot so that the rest of us can have fun. If so, much appreciated!
Just followed you. You liked my horse joke. There’s a whole CATEGORY of jokes just for bartenders! Also, you make it sound so easy to create a drink that has 37 ingredients and instructions like “muddle”. I knew there was a reason I tip my bartenders well! 😀
Thanks for the follow, guess you are posting again. Wish I had you sooner when I was in my finding cool drinks to be a local come to your party amateur mixologist. The books helped, as well as the apps, but content experts are king.
So sugarcane has a lot of complex flavors that we refine out of it (a lot of it goes into molasses). But traditional cachaca doesn't use refined sugar and that's where, I assume, it's interesting flavor comes from.
Yeah, I live in South Louisiana and I know the taste of sugarcane, used to cut some and chew on it as a kid. Sweet but earthy. Has the same flavor. It’s harvesting time right now. Sometimes I go by the refinery and get some bagasse for my compost.

Great ideas here, cheers!

I've seen a few variations, so I'm keen to get an expert take on it
“Oops. Think I may have muddled myself. Better go change.”
BTW. I know you didn’t specifically SAY muddle, but I know it’s a bartender thing. Pretty sure there’s wooden things involved. 🤷♂️👍
