Makes sense for fans of weekly TV wrestling.

The big issue is I just don't mess with cable much anymore, especially with my work schedule being what it is. Easier for me to watch wrestling when it isn't as bound to a weekly TV programming style.

As an old wrestling fan, it was actually really easy for me to not bother with WWE, mostly because I never did care much for them even back then. I kind of put up with them a little once they were the only game in town post-WCW/ECW, but that didn't last long.

There's so many alternatives nowadays.

Things were fucking dark between the end of WCW and when New Japan became easily accessible around 2015. I'd watch WWE but it was honestly depressing and fell off the weekly shows

Yeah, I barely watched WWE programming right up until about 2007 when the Benoit incident happened, and then I just stopped watching wrestling completely until a local OTA network started broadcasting ROH, right around the same time they were doing the NJPW cross promotion shows, and I got into NJPW
