IANAL But it looks to me like this just ended the stay against firing him until the case is argued on it's merits. The real problem there is that it will mean the DoJ can delay it long enough to appoint a lackey, so even if he wins, the job is gone.

A lot of coverage noted the Special Counsel’s role in protecting whistleblowers, but a bigger facet of the job is advocating for civil servants who were illegally terminated for a variety of reasons. Dellinger did that well, which is why Trump will now replace him with an anti-worker lackey.
