I’m born and raised in Canada, have widely traveled and live in Switzerland since a few decades. The thing that makes me most proud of home is when people who have visited tell me we are the nicest friendliest people they’ve met, and how many they met while there.
I hope that Canada sees a huge uptick in tourism, as people avoid travelling to the US!
In fact the Federal Government, and all Provincial Governments should book ads in Europe etc promoting tourism in Canada! 🇨🇦
🇨🇦 is always in the top 5, regardless of source. In today's political climate, I was worried we'd lose that "nice" status. That said, our kindness isn't weakness. Yes, we have a long fuse, but try to back us into a corner, we come out swinging like feral cats. Bring lots of band-aids & gauze!
