The human experience has been defined by horrors, stretching back into those trackless places in our collective memory where only the bones in the archaeological record can testify as to what happened. It’s our job as the branch not struck off to keep growing toward the light. What else can we do?
We were just talking about not remembering what it felt like before 9/11.
Now, what did we feel like yesterday.
Onslaught of pain day after day.
At this point, I’m for a general strike, a total shutdown.
If we don’t, we are saying this is all ok.
It’s not fucking ok.

This is the fallout from 9-11. ICE was established, your president of the time went to war twice, torturing became normalized, hate and targetting fellow Americans for their faith, namely Muslims ensued. Need I go on.
9-11 brought out the best and worst in many of us.
"It's simply not possible for an American President to be as bad as George W Bush," I said with a look so confident and smug I'm still waiting for the slap I deserve for it.
I kinda like his paintings.
At least Trump had the tallest building after that event. Some people seem to forget they voted for a shit-head that mentioned that. On the day of even.

When the USA farts we shit ourselves.
9/11 for us is just one of the several occasions in between your governments flair bartending with the global economy.
