🚨BREAKING: Mayor of Brampton, and former Conservative leadership candidate, Patrick Brown, has been summoned to appear before the Public Safety Committee to answer questions in relation to foreign interference in the Conservative Leadership convention that elected Pierre Poilievre.

Not sure what the implications are when someone just makes a statement vs engaging in activities. Either way, any foreigner threatening to interfere in an election should be treated very seriously and I assure you Elections Canada and our security agencies follow this stuff very closely.

I really hope you are correct. They haven’t seemed able to solve much with the ‘longest ballot’ issue and given what we’ve seen in the USA this is a much more serious situation. I am sure they will eventually get to the issue but can someone enquire if it’s on the radar? Just in case?

I contacted Elections Canada on Twitter when pic of man with ballots for PP was posted. Their reply was that they don't get involved with party leadership races. So, IMO, that's not watching closely. That's totally ignoring.
