new non-furry user here, was a bit surprised at first but you guys are cool! +good art so its always a win in my feed (i just filter out the nsfw ones, but even then ive seen more human nsfw than furry's)
Yup, some of the first to sound the alarm, and some of the fiercest online fighters for equity (which is better than equality - if you give everyone the same solution, it doesn't suit everyone - equity gives a variety of solutions for equal experiences).
We're one of the fiercest when it comes to booting fascists out of our shared spaces. Even mainstream queer circles can be too wishy-washy about it- or have whole fascist-queer subsections like ace-haters, trans-haters, trans-medicalists, and more.
Very much this. If the furries are leaving that's your sign to gtfo. Of they are flocking to it, typically that means it's secure and safe (there's a reason so mnay furries are I.T folks)

We also are the literal backbone of the online ecosystem. Like online networking and the furry fandom grew in parallel due to the overlap being that tech wizards and furries are one in the same.

Legit complaint I once saw here - someone said the Discover feed was broken because there was too much furry art (the maintainer dev was in the thread too).
Imo it's instead a sign of a healthy algorithmic feed. (but no I get it when someone isn't into furry stuff all that much lol)
