Three card pulls, focusing on what I need to know am regarding X or Y topics, then subsequent pulls asking for clarification if something isn't entirely spelled out. I've found that to be the most accurate for me.
I remember a friend of mine mentioning getting to know the deck was always good. Like asking it what they're like or what their fave card could be. (I'm stil amateur to it too but they felt fun to do)
What do I need to hear today?
Can I have a 24 hour message?
I draw a card for inspiration.
During any reading "What is going on with this card?" Can help clear up misunderstandings.
🥹💕 Thank u! I’m obsessed with tarot and love to see more artists getting into it. If you have any questions ever feel free to hmu anytime (I selfishly love chatting about it so ur not bothering at all / but also no pressure to)
I usually leave the question or advice pretty vague.
"Advice on ___" or "What should I look out for?"
Or just ask for Help on topic that you are worried or stressed about.
Alot of my readings (Celtic cross or 3 cards) are about warnings or what to look out for in the future. What is the concern.
The answers that I get alot are more of warnings, like a call out on my bad habits, look out for and reminder to not let my insecurities control me. Also some decks will be nicer vs harsher on you. Could also making a decision/ when you get the answer you know which one you want.
Im a tarot newbie but i usually do a 3 card spread
And i dont exactly ask questions so much as just go with “feeling”, which usually gives comforting/encouraging results
I have a friend who said doing it like this is fine as well
what is this situation trying to teach me?
what skills do I need for this opportunity?
what is best use of my energy today?
what would you like me to now right now?
I usually use the tarot in writing. It can be as simple as asking "what does this character represent to the protagonist" and pulling a card, though I'm sure you can inspire a whole profile / arc with a proper spread
1. Is there someone in my life who is making a positive impact on my life / a negative impact
2. Am I on a correct path towards my goal/ accomplishments/ lifestyle.
3. Am I holding onto someone or something that I need to let go of?
things like "what should i learn from this situation?", "in what areas could i improve?", and "how should i prepare myself for the near future?" are questions i really like 😌
I like to ask about certain time periods! Usually in relation to the stars - like mercury in retrograde or the upcoming mars in retrograde.
It helps me personally if I make it a bit more specific like areas of life etc etc.
It depends really on what you want, something I ask at the beginning of the month is: “What are the most important things for me to focus on this month?” The more specific you are, and the more open-ended the question, the better.
Sometimes it is past, present, and future. OR I'll do "things to keep in mind" start, middle, and end (for projects or trips), etc. 3 cards is my bread and butter.
I also do card of the day and put it on my desk as a reminder of the message : )
My go-tos are "how can I gain a better understanding of [situation/relationship/big event]?" and "how should I approach [big event/life circumstance]?"
if I don't have a specific thing I'm wondering about, I usually ask something like "what do I need to hear right now?" or "what should I keep in mind today?"

If I’m stuck on the understanding of a card I interview the card.
I tend to be a “what should we chat about” kinda reader
