One of the interesting things about the school lunch debacle is that Compass has been serving up similar - maybe not quite so horrific - sludge in our hospitals for a decade or so. When Canterbury ditched them it showed not only could it provide more nutritious and tasty food it could do it cheaper.

Undoubtedly. With a poorly written, one-sided contract (in their favour) and the promise of a handsomely remunerated directorship after it's all blown over. We know how these things work.

The details of the contract were leaked. Compass can be dumped if they aren't delivering palatable food to all students every day that meets nutrition requirements by term 2 2024. Pressure needs to start pushing for the govt to dump them.

Contract should have been stated quality on day one. Not fixed by end of week one means contract cancelled. After all this company have been doing food(!!!!) for long time.
