Had a brazilian coworker who was like this for round one. LOVED Trump, loved how he'd crack down on immigration and I was like "they are not going to look at your hair and eye colour, they are going to look at your nationality." Absolutely refused to listen to me.

As a white person raised in a upper middle class suburb I can tell you that the last thing most people there think about is government. Unless it has to do with taxes or keeping the societal status quo.
