Please don't forget that you have an audience of Threaders. I like it here, but I have a nice community of blue folks onπ§΅. We were the first X-itters, who were promoting Democrats during the election, while this 2nd wave stayed there tolerating a Nazi. We created a safe space for Dems.
If you happen to know these people, please invite them over; these are perhaps the last names on my wish list of escapees from X:
Neal Katyal
Jamie Raskin
Harry Litman
Michael Luttig
Bradley Moss
Daniel Goldman
Sooo freaking Happy YβAll are here & ready to fight for democracy!!! TY Jen for being front & center in this whole nightmare π£ You Rock!! ππππ€ Rock onβ¦
Most pro-democracy Republicans have left the Republican party. For example, Mitt Romney is the only remaining Reoublican in his family. Meghan McCain is the same in hers. I was the only non-Republican in my family. There are none any longer.
They're not there... as the registered Independents who came from the Republican party would show up in the Moderate and Conservative data numbers, which are flat outside 3rd party voters, notable for the outcome in '00 & '16.
Interesting but also frightening. First time around for Trump, the remaining republicans were a kind of βbrakeβ for extreme right wing policy. Now what?
This morning Mitch McConnell publicly rejected Trump's request that the Senate take a recess to allow him to bypass confirmation of his cabinet picks. That's something, anyway.
Don't close your account there or someone can take your twitter name. Simply stop posting there.
And honestly if you want the Dem lawmakers here, the best way to do that is to stop posting on Twitter right now. Just stop. You have 100k here it is enough. Remember on BlueSky they do not mess with
your feed. YOU and each of your followers control their own feed, what you/they see. So every single one of your 100k followers will see every one of your BlueSky Posts. On X and Threads Elon & Mark Z control your feed decide what you see and what you don't see. That is not true here.
If you want the Dem Lawmakers to post only on BlueSky then deny them your content on Twitter. As there feeds get more and more thin of accounts they follow they will come over here, they will. You gotta starve a troll, starve Elon of your content, starve him.
Jennifer, I am so glad you are on here! This is day 4 for me leaving Twitter. Iβm building a new following group & I am a bit more incognito here β using my favorite artistβs name as my profile name. I plan to use my art as a way to inspire other artists. We shall be a collective here! #artists
Legacy audience really. X had years to build a massive platform to communicate to. There are still way too many sane people still posting on that cesspool, even if Musk makes sure they get drowned out. The President is supposed to message to everyone, unlike Trump who only cares about his MAGA cult.
Please let us know when you are de-Xing. I was planning to stay until Inauguration Day but if I need to go sooner, let me know. Still a few people there but not here I would miss.
Why are so many, people I follow who are in the media, continue to make excuses that no longer ring true to where we are at.
It feels like an addiction to it X that they canβt give up.
Just walk, Jen. It's not that hard. Don't wait. Don't split your time. Deactivate your X account, remove the X app icons from all your devices to avoid temptation to go back in (which would reactivate your account), and uninstall X from all your devices. Voila! You are free.
I remember reading your "Right Turn" column in WaPo when it wasn't paywall'd. Turns out that Obamacare wasn't as disastrous as original claimed... π
No. But most people here are interested in facts and not alternative facts. Wonβt tolerate threats, misogyny, or racism. If thatβs your bag youβll get blocked.
Thatβs ok. They seem happy over there. Republicans too. Letβs just enjoy this interval before BS gets big enough to get bloated by the corporations and the parties. I donβt miss any of them.

Thanks!
Bradley Moss is here as Brad Moss
Dan Goldman
Not sure about Jamie Raskin; his name has an S at the end which seem suspicious
Still hoping to see Michael Luttig and Neal Katyal! If anyone who sees this knows them, please beg, if necessary.

The growth for the Democratic party at the ballot box is leftward, not rightward.
The "center" is a "chasm" of low-information and disinformation voters now.
This morning Mitch McConnell publicly rejected Trump's request that the Senate take a recess to allow him to bypass confirmation of his cabinet picks. That's something, anyway.
I mean to say that neither they -- nor we -- are persuading any significant portion of people to realign their views at the ballot box, so far.
And honestly if you want the Dem lawmakers here, the best way to do that is to stop posting on Twitter right now. Just stop. You have 100k here it is enough. Remember on BlueSky they do not mess with
Help me out, folks.
Why does the President of the United States, Biden, have an X account and post from it?
It feels like an addiction to it X that they canβt give up.
To hell with ratios

Thanks!
please consider following back some of the smaller accounts to spread the empowerment. π
