It’s seems to be state specific 4 now. However,people/clients need to rise up & involve the ACLU. Because, it WILL cause harm, unnecessary pain or even death. My thought:health plans are ready to “do what they want” under 45. B/c they’ve already met ($him)w/him about it. Other plans will follow.
My personal take they were probably going to be challenged in court and they were getting ahead of themselves. They ACA has to actually be gone first. to be clear no evidence of that but that is my take
I’m very glad that they’re making this change, and changes like this… but isn’t it just a little bit sickening that this was all so doable for them, so easily… with the right incentive (read: threat lol)
It's sad to see some one loose there life over profit. this why medicare for all would be better. We need to get rid of all these other insurance that isn't medacre or medicade.
Starbucks backed down on their plans to raise prices as well. Sometimes a bit of fear is a great motivator hopefully the big pharma companies pay attention, huge corporate farms & food producers, you can only push people so far till they start snapping one by one!
A rallying cry against Universal Healthcare by MAGA claimed that Canada had “Death Panels “ to determine accessibility to healthcare.
That is a lie. The “Death Panels “ are the American Insurance Companies!!!
Look in the mirror MAGA & you will see the problem!
Imagine that. When the “poors” need a change it’s “we will see”. When they see how easy it is for a ceo to get capped, they can make nearly instant changes. Interesting.
Yeah. Seems about right. The same corpoation that didn’t cover my “elective surgery “ because it was under the 6 month introductory period. In other words: don’t get sick. Just die?
Insurance companies are the biggest scammers in history! They’re not interested in helping people, just taking your money 💰! Then find reasons to deny you when you need the coverage the most! They should be afraid!!
Nah tell them to go ahead and FAFO. people are sick of these billionaires, companies and their bullshit. If they want to be rich that’s one thing but when they totally just dispose of people and have their foots on our neck to be as greedy as possible it’s an entirely diff thing.
💙✌🏻💙 Yeah y'all had a bit of a think on that... Didn't you... Disgusting thieving Bastards! How many people die annually by suicide because they can't pay medical bills..
This sounds so implausible. Waking up during any surgery would be a death sentence for the patient, the pain, the open wound, the flailing around would cause so much internal damage. I need to see this in actual writing for me to believe that.
Guarantee this will come back around. They’ll wait a couple of months and then add it back in. Have to test the waters first to see how bad the reaction is, then sneak it into the next open enrollment session. Plus, all complaints will have to go through arbitration, not court.
When folks say limit coverage for anesthesia and blame it on insurance companies, why don’t they say greedy doctors/hospitals refuse to do surgery for a fixed rate. Insurance companies aren’t all evil, it’s all a battle of incentives. Hospitals want money, insurers want money.
you know. if i was on a board of directors; and said why dont we stop installing brakes in moving vehicles. it would save millions for our shareholders! i would be either; sent to a shrink; or fired on the spot. tell me; is what these people did any different?
Yep.
And NO ONE believes they did this because they actually care about us.
They got scared when they saw how little America cares about a CEO who turned his back on under his 'care.'
I found a way .. need a group of people to make it happen .. need to find volunteer att , they have to do community service anyway .. just need to know about federal regs and compliance
You know, cocaine is a very effective anaesthetic, I wonder how much healthcare insurance executives spend on cocaine every year? Just asking for a friend....
We can't rely on the government to regulate them into decency. When there are no other options people turn to violence. This is consequences of governmental failure. Nothing more, nothing less.
Once more, murder is wrong, full stop. But (yes, I know), but you know damn well this wouldn't have happened, and there'd be little talk of uhc allowing people to die for profit, & no one would be discussing universal healthcare if this hadn't happened.
I guess if you see the CEO of a major company get executed for using an AI that ended up being wrong 90% of the time in the treatments of his clients, I guess you are going to rethink any policy that is inhumane. I am not advocating any killing of a human being, I am just stating the obvious fallout
They're testing the waters and wanting to see just how much people in the US are paying attention because corporate CEO's only care for their own profits and gain, healthcare for the people be damned.
Swinging their dicks around, reveling in their power, and not giving a shit about your well being. It took murder to roll that back. Think about that. Hew and cry from the people would have changing nothing. I am extremely militant about this issue.
Fear created this decision. The Insurance Industry makes its CEO's a lot of money exactly because of these denials. They backed Commander Crazy Pants during the election, they wanted to make more money on their insured. 😞
The next 4 years, we absolutely need to band together. 💙✊🏼
It is incredible the level of law enforcement manpower and resources that have been engaged and activated for the murder of one white man because he was wealthy.
Everyone has health insurance in Canada. If you voted Democrat, you would have the same luxury. Instead, you voted for a convict, rapist who sells Trump perfume and watches. The Republicans don't give a damn about Americans.
I'd be willing to be that the majority of Americans on Bluesky did vote Democrat and did not vote for a rapist who is also a narcissistic convicted felon. We're steadily blocking people who did vote for him.
The fight was always misrepresented by ANESTHESIOLOGISTS. The policy would never have forced patients to pay for additional anesthesia. It had to do with anesthesiologists (avg salary ~$475,000 vs $250,000 for surgeons) overbilling. THEY would have had to cover the difference, not the patients.
I was being sarcastic. But it seems the people are finally ready to rise up against obscenely wealthy companies. At the same time they voted in an oligarchy in November. Not ironic at all, is it?
multi million dollar CEO's testing the waters for blow-back before they begin reducing other procedure payments. - Just how much more can the poor stand to lose?
I’m so sick of private insurance companies. It makes them all out for the big bucks which means money over life. Time for national health care in America.
Amazing what the assassination of just one CEO can do to the decisions of other CEO's in the same profession. It even made Elonia keep a human shield with him while out in public.
Trump got elected, everyone is on their last nerve, keg of dynamite just looking for a match. Surely someone with half a working brain realizes unpopular changes might not be the best decision right now.
Today I read a lovely piece about how long term “care” “providers” are looking forward to the trumpian dismantling of regulations. And simultaneously, an article about the US ranking 49th in life expectancy, projected to slip to 66th by 2050.

Good grief...
That is a lie. The “Death Panels “ are the American Insurance Companies!!!
Look in the mirror MAGA & you will see the problem!
The people need something, like increased minimum wage? No, sorry, there's no money.
Millionaire and billionaire CEOxs need more money? Here have some tax cuts, the poor will pay for it! Here's your free money!!!!
And NO ONE believes they did this because they actually care about us.
They got scared when they saw how little America cares about a CEO who turned his back on under his 'care.'
So, sorry, not sorry. Burn in hell dude
The next 4 years, we absolutely need to band together. 💙✊🏼
Whatever could it be?
Signed,
A white guy
"Yeah, or at least not make it quite so obvious, I guess."
Never mind
No, not ironic at all.
It works!!!!
