Romanian heroes. People all over the world are fighting for freedom and protesting the oligarch dystopia of Elon Musk and the dark enlightenment. Nobody wants a return of kings and slaves!
According to the Romanian Constitution, the form of government is a democracy. If a candidate says they will abolish political parties, it means they intend to eliminate democracy, which is unacceptable. No one is above the Constitution. Personally, Iβm glad they were removed.
What parties did Georgescu want to abolish? And that actually wasn't the reason given for either the annulment of the 2024 election or his banning from the 2025 election. It's an odd form of democracy cheerleading where you agree with banning candidates because you don't like their opinions.
These are the accusations against CΔlin Georgescu :
1. Incitement to actions against the constitutional order;
βοΈhere, his statement about abolishing political parties will be investigated(there is a video of him saying this).
2. Dissemination of false information;
3. False statements;
4. or establishing an organization with fascist, racist, or xenophobic character, joining or supporting such a group;
5. Initiating or establishing an antisemitic organization, joining or supporting, in any form, such an organization;
You know it all resembles the justifications undemocratic countries give for barring candidates frowned on by their establishments, which the EU and liberals denounce as the acts of frightened tyrants. And yet when the West does the same, it's perfectly acceptable, admirable even. Hypocrisy?
Since I see youβre interested in my country, Iβll answer.
CΔlin Georgescu said: βThere will be no more political parties in this country, none. Because our ancestors are alive.βπ
You need to see his statements in Romanian to understand what kind of person he is. Internationally, he is very curated.
And a comment with no context is just words, but we know that's not why he was banned and 40% of voters told they could not vote for their choice. He was banned for setting himself against the narrative of the state and EU Commission, for Romania has shown it's no longer a genuine democracy.
Everybody annoyed with Western European pretense status quo continues and that nothing has changed, Russia is still your best buddy and everybody should just let West doze peacefully watching fairytales more pleasant than reality?
Yesterday was a national holiday in Hungary. That's why you mostly saw only the national flag at the opposition gathering. Other times the EU flag is also used. Mostly only at opposition events.
The most Eurosceptic country in the EU is Greece, where 50 percent have an unfavourable opinion of the union and only 49 percent have a favourable opinion.
In Hungary, support for the EU - over a longer period of time - fluctuates around 70%.
If Greece continued their economic policy during the crisis, we would see only a crippled country today.
The Greeks were not forced to accept the way for recovering. It was a help, with strict rules - to prevent the fallback.
In other words: Is it normal for the population to retire at 40?
I don't think everyone retired at 40... It is partly true, but also partly the northern EU countries are very patronizing towards the southern ones. And Goldman Sachs didn't help either.
Leaving the financial crisis behind, the country has undergone profound change and is now considered an emerging power in Southeastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, both in terms of its diplomatic and economic strength. Once a mass of misfortune, today it is an economic success story Greece.
