We need statesmanship but don't throw out the benefits of good satire or sarcasm. Sarcastic wit has a long history of effective resistance-it can shed light on a subject in a unique way that straight arguments cannot while disarming the reader with humor.

I voted against JB when he first ran and have been pleasantly surprised by him over and over ever since. He also has a knack for making progressive things (like his parole reform) sound very pragmatic and common sense, and thus appealing to centrists/not politically engaged people.
