I can't let this reality-inverting BS go. The US was a proponent and architect of the EU—in particular, its antecedent the ECSC—because Europe caused massive wars that killed millions (including hundreds of thousands of Americans) and integrating their economies would prevent another.

Its evident Trump doesn't understand why the EU exists and its MASSIVE benefits when it comes to peace. Its also clear that he see's no problem giving into an aggressive invading force.

The Founders thought a crook, demagogue, and/or whack job could become president. What they didn't expect is that Congress would be cool with it, and the Supreme Court would help set it up.
