The Federal Government didn't create a new right. A Supreme Court decision determined the right should have already existed. The Bill of Rights literally leaves open the fact that God given rights can be found to exist later that weren't specifically writen already.

That game had some issues, but that scene was fantastic. The biggest issue I had with it was that it just kinda *ended.* The final mission and cinematic felt more like it was the leadup to the final mission than a finale, if it had just one more level after that I would have been much happier.

Here's the encompassing compromise. Churches do not need to perform marriage ceremonies for same sex marriage. (Separation of church and state). However, that being said, a state recognized union between same sex should be permitted.
Everyone can just go their own way after that.
