I like to see people being creative and making their own fun, even if it's cringe and not very good. What I don't like are $50mil yachts and massive underground bunkers to protect this asshole from us starving plebs when he burns the world down with his profligacy and greed.

Eh, unpopular opinion, but if one of my friends did that at a birthday party I'd think it was cute and funny. The costume and show ponying isn't a turn off for me the way that spending millions on a party while you're gutting DEI and fact-checking at your company and destroying democracy are.
