It's estimated to be 458B cheaper to implement universal healthcare. Those savings fund social security.

Take PTSD seriously as a real illness and actually treat it. I know a lot of veterans with untreated PTSD. Many are homeless. Most have been in trouble with the law. Some are ticking time bombs.

My sister is a USAF Security Forces veteran who works with vets. She stated the Army’s & Marine’s ideologies & training are vastly different from the USAF & USN. Thus, it seems to explain why domestic terrorists are generally from one of those two military branches.

Christopher Hassam, a Lt in the Coast Guard was arrested in 2019. He had a huge cache of arms and munitions. He also had a hit list that included Nancy Pelosi. He was convicted. We don't pay enough attention to cases where there was an arrest before an attack.

I started with some Canadian resources because the research and programs aren't spending time fighting partisanship that extends to research in the US. There are debates, objections, even court cases. The material is made public so the public can understand what is happening.

Here's a story from my Navy days: When I was stationed at NAS North Island/San Diego, we had a guy check in from training at Millington, TN. Shaved head, work boots, rolled up jeans, work shirt and suspenders, when he was in civilian clothes. Recruited into the Skinhead cult out of boot camp. 1/2

Short version is....he and a group of his friends beat the s**t out of someone in downtown and he was eventually discharged. He was loud & proud of his Skinhead affil. and the Navy, seemingly, could not do anything until he broke some laws. This was in 1985.

Everyone has access to the internet, you can listen to any BBC radio station through #BBCSounds. UK has had digital radio and TV for years now. If arts and culture were more accessible to US citizens it might make for a happier country all round. (Other radio apps are available) :)

I would estimate that at least 50% of vets and cops are trump supporters....because Fox propaganda has been central to their professional information mantra for three decades. Many that i work with are extremely pro-trump and anti-democrat. Some even pro-Russia. Deeply concerning.
