from a decade of comms experience my advice is to just call them cuts.
they are making huge cuts to ALL the research on medicines we use every day, and cures for diseases like cancer.
1) keep it simple
2) keep it brief
3) make it actionable

No funding, no medical advances your familyβs enjoyed for decades.
And jobs get cut, donβt celebrate cuz thatβs no spending on your restaurant, home additions, kitchen renos, new cars, and no taxes paid.
And cuts to Medicare is no local doctor, hospital, etc
Also call their state offices.
Iβd add:
4)Make it personal
Whether it applies directly to their life, or a personal account to see how it could.
Many of their stated actions are not cuts that are supposed to happen, but illegal and/or unconstitutional proclamations that shouldn't be carried out.
I don't know why, but I'm wondering if using 'billionaires' just ends up not inspiring what they want it to.
Illegal cuts - opens up debate, can cause friction, and detracts from main point.
Cancer survivor here btw. Pure monetization. It may still go on-jist anything valuable will be stolen and withheld for profit.
