I’m going to buy a late 90s Ford Ranger and pour whatever money is necessary to keep it running. No more “smart” anything.

I like the back-up camera on my Honda Fit, and if I had to have a big pickup or SUV I'd probably appreciate side cameras activated by turn signals, but that's about as "smart" as I would want a car to be.

I had a 2002 Saturn and that cat was BULLETPROOF. I had it for 13 years and the only reason I had to get rid of it was GM closed all the Saturn plants and you couldn't get parts anymore

But honestly, the biggest and most favorite thing?

I have a tiny touch screen and it's easily the worst part of the car. dials, switches like it's a B17, various buttons, even a real parking brake and transfer case lever. but that silly screen remains 😩
