I bought VOO and VTI today after the market went down knowing Trump would pull back on the tarriffs (in exchange for some illusory deal that he could tout). It's obvious and the market and trade "adversaries" are figuring it out (if they haven't already).

Whether he rolls them back or not, this isn't going to help consumer sentiment. He's going to learn sooner rather than later that even if you're "just doing bluster", having an unstable psychotic setting economic policy based on whim makes people pull out of the market.
